June 7th 9:30pm till 5:00am Saturday at Lakeville South High School
The 2013 Senior Party will be the 7th annual party for the Lakeville South High School graduating class. The party follows the tradition of an after graduation celebration that has been occurring in Lakeville for over 30 years. The All Night Senior Party is a drugfree all night event that follows the graduation ceremony.
The party is funded by registration fees charged to the students, the generous support of our local business community, and LSHS family donations. Businesses donate food, prizes, and financial resources that allow us to provide for the graduates a variety of great food and a large selection of prizes ranging from gift cards to dorm room furniture. All graduates are allowed to attend the party regardless of ability to pay the registration fee.
The graduates are free to roam the building throughout the night and participate in the many games and activities. Laser Tag, Bingo, Mini Golf, Body Art, Photographs, Casino, Bingo, Minute to Win It, Service Project, Wheel of Fortune and a Mechanical Bull are just a few of the activities. There will also be an endless international food buffet, a hypnotist, magician, masseuses, movie lounge, giant inflatables and PRIZES.This is considered a "lock-in" event; students are released to home at 5:00am.
200-250 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Parents are NOT allowed to attend the senior party unless they are actively volunteering on a committee prior to the event!!!
Each activity or game is planned and executed by a committee of parent volunteers. The activity options are limited only by the limitations of their imagination. A budget for each activity will be set by the Executive Committee. Each committee is responsible for decorating their own room that reflects the overall theme of the party, execution of their activity during the party, and cleanup of their area after the party. The extent of decoration is left totally up to each committee, but it is encouraged that decorations be exciting and enticing for the graduates. A contact person from each committee will be asked to attend a monthly meeting hosted by the Executive Committee.
